語りの生成の場としての質的研究の臨床的意義 --臨床心理学における質的研究と心理臨床の差異と重なりに着目して--

Abstract

本稿では, 臨床心理学における質的研究の意義を検討するために, 語りの生成の場として質的研究を捉え, 心理臨床における語りの差異と重なりに着目した。まず, 調査面接と臨床面接の基本的な構造の差異について概観した。次に, 語るという発話行為に目を向けたとき, 語りは聞き手と語り手によって共同生成されるという共通点がある一方で, 調査面接においては, 研究者の設定するテーマに沿って語り手を自己規定させるという権威性の課題が指摘された。しかし, 語り手が自身の体験を他者に伝達しようとすることは, 語り手が「わたし」としての声を見いだすとともに過去への応答責任をもつことでもあることから, 調査面接だからこそ生まれる語りの公共性をもつ。研究者は, そうしたパラドクスと語りにおける倫理性をどのように引き受けていくかを常に考える必要があり, その問い直しの営みが, 心理療法における倫理性につながることが示された。

This paper considers qualitative research as a field of narrative generation and examines the significance of qualitative research in clinical psychology by focusing on the narrative differences and overlap between qualitative research and psychotherapy. There are a number of differences in the basic structure of survey interviews and clinical interviews. However, a common point between the two is that in the speech act of narrating, a narrative is co-generated in the relationship between the narrator and listener. In survey interviews, narrators are asked to narrate and identify themselves according to the researchers' interest, highlighting the authority in the survey interview. However, survey interviews also involve publicity when narrators convey their experiences to the listeners, trying to find their own voice and take responsibility for the past. Researchers must always consider how to handle this paradox and narrative ethics in qualitative research, which may lead to the ethical questioning process in psychotherapy.
