デジタルサイネージを利用した異文化コミュニケーション誘発手法の提案

Abstract

The number of tourists visiting Japan is increasing in recent years, therefore, in this study, a method to induce cross-cultural communication with digital signage has been proposed which can provide better experience for tourists visiting Japan. In the proposed method, a system which displays sightseeing-related information imitated pieces of jigsaw puzzle on the top of user's head has been developed. The pieces are fitting by the action to shorten distance between users which in independent of mother tongues. This cooperative work was expected to provide a trigger of cross-cultural communication.
