症例「鼠男」における自我変容としての道徳性 --S.フロイトが論じた二種類の「反動形成」--

Abstract

本稿の目的は、「道徳性」の発達を強迫神経症患者の「反動形成」に引きつけて論じたフロイトのテクストを検討して、超自我による強迫的な自我の支配とは異なる道徳性のあり方を明らかにすることである。第一に、超自我の理論に継承される、規範の内面化と抑圧の強化としてのフロイトの「道徳性」概念を確認する。第二に、症例「鼠男」を検討して、人の道徳的な性格への変容過程には、同一化と抑圧の機制とは別に二種類の「反動形成」が関与することを示す。「自我変容」として自我の性格が形作られる「反動形成」と、良心による自己非難を強める「反動形成」である。第三に、この二種類の「反動形成」がフロイトの教育論と超自我論にともに引き継がれる過程を辿る。最後に、自我の変容に着目する「反動形成」が、自我が超自我から独立して強迫性から離れながら、無意識の欲望を統御する道徳的態度を示しうることを論証する。

This paper considers S. Freud's text arguing that the development of "morality" is similar to "reactionformation" in patients with obsessional neurosis, and clarifies the morality that is different from the dominance of the ego by the compulsive superego. First, this paper confirms Freud's concept of "morality" as the internalization of norms and the strengthening of repression, which is inherited in his theory of the superego. Second, it examines the case of "Rat Man" and shows that two types of reaction-formation, apart from the mechanism of identification and repression, contribute to the process by which a person transforms into a moral character. One type of reaction-formation is understood as "alteration of ego, " which shapes the character of the ego, and the other strengthens self-reproach by conscience. Third, this paper traces the process of these two types of reaction-formation inherited by both Freud's theory of education and superego. Finally, it concludes that the reaction-formation, which focuses on the alteration of ego, can show a moral attitude that controls unconscious desires, while being independent from the superego and separating from compulsion.
