「自分の物語」はいかにして生成されるか --物語を生きることとその途上における問題について--

Abstract

本稿ではまず心理臨床における物語や物語ることについて、「物語を生きる」という視座から、空間イメージを援用しながら論じることを試みる。物語は、まず主体と世界との接触を通して経験すること、そして経験と経験との間のラインを辿ること、そうして見えてきた筋を他者に物語ることを通じて物語となってゆく。したがって物語とは、決して主客が分断されているような静的で閉じられた不変のものではなく、社会的・文化的・歴史的な文脈の影響を受けながら、主体と環界との相互作用のもとで力動的に生成されてゆくものであると考えられる。また本稿では、物語の断絶や遊離、あるいはねじれやとぎれについても論じ、「物語を生きる」過程において生じる問題として病理を捉え直すことも試みる。病理を物語の力動的な生成過程において生じる問題として捉えることは、その理解や支援のうえで、より多面的で多様なアプローチを可能にするのではないかと考えられる。

This paper first discusses the self-story and storytelling in clinical psychology from the viewpoint of "living the self-story" while referring to the spatial image. Before the self-story is generated, it is necessary to gather experiences through contact with the world, tracing the line between the experiences, and telling the self-story to another person. Therefore, the self-story is not a static, closed, and immutable one in which the self-story is separated by the storyteller, but is generated dynamically by the interaction between the subject and the environment, while being influenced by social, cultural, and historical contexts. Second, this paper also discusses the discontinuity and dissociation of the self-story, as well as its twists and breaks. By examining these formats of stories, this paper attempts to recapture psychopathology as a problem on the process of "living in the self-story." It is suggested that understanding psychopathology as a problem that occurs in the dynamic process of self-story generation will enable a more multifaceted and diverse approach in understanding and supporting it.
