| 抄録: | Haruki Murakami has been considered a “full-length novelist” for a long time. However, in order to comprehensively grasp his writing career, it is necessary to revisit his early work, which included short stories. This paper focuses on a set of four texts, each with a different content and format, titled “Four Thoughts on the Spaces with Books, ” published in 1982 in the magazine Brutus, No.43. This cluster of works, now largely neglected, is extremely significant, as it reveals traces of trial and error in the early days of Murakami's career as a writer, and provides an excellent foundation from which to explore his subsequent literary development. |
| 記述: | 本稿は、2021年6月5日・6日に淡江大学にて開催された第10回村上春樹国際シンポジウムで、「村上春樹「本のある空間をめぐる4つの断想」について --逸脱としてのテクスト--」と題して行なった口頭発表の原稿に、同年7月17日に行われた第8回「村上春樹とアダプテーション研究会」での報告「村上春樹と鈴木清順 --〈逸脱としてのテクスト〉拾遺」の内容を併せ、大幅な加筆修正を施したものである。発表は、どちらもオンラインによる。 |
