挫折体験後の心的外傷後成長と心的外傷後低下が精神的健康に与える影響とその関連要因についての検討

Abstract

苦痛な出来事を体験した人は, なぜ他でもない自分がその体験をしなければならなかったのかという問いに直面する。心的外傷後成長(PTG)とは非常にストレスフルな体験もしくは外傷的な体験に引き続いて起こる, 主観的な心理的成長のことであり, 心的外傷後低下(PTD)はその対義的概念である。本研究では, 挫折体験後に生じるPTG・PTD の精神的健康への影響とレジリエンスとの関連について検討した。質問紙調査の分析から, ①時間経過に伴いPTG は上昇しPTD は下降しているように感じられる傾向がある, ②現在感じているPTG が体験当時感じたPTD の精神的健康に対する影響を緩和している, ③PTG とレジリエンスには正の関連があり, PTD とレジリエンスには負の関連があるという可能性がみられた。本研究ではPTG とPTD双方に注目し, その交互作用を明らかにした。だが, データ数がやや少ないため, 結果の一般化には慎重さが求められ, 今後データを増やしての更なる検討が必要である。

People who experience distressing events are faced with the question of why they hadto go through them. Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) is the subjective psychological growththat follows a highly stressful or traumatic experience, and Posttraumatic Depreciation(PTD) is the opposite concept. This study examined the effects of PTG and PTD onmental health following experience of frustration and their relations to resilience.Analysis of the questionnaire survey results suggested that people tend to perceive PTGas increasing and PTD as decreasing over time, currently perceived PTG moderates theimpact of PTD on mental health felt at the time of the experience, and there can be apositive correlation between PTG and resilience and a negative correlation between PTDand resilience. This study focused on both PTG and PTD, and clarified their interactioneffects. However, due to the rather small amount of data, caution is required ingeneralization of the results, and further studies with more data are needed.
