日本の精神分析における「甘え」理論の展開と臨床実践

Abstract

本稿は、土居が提唱した〈「甘え」理論/概念〉が、日本の精神分析臨床実践の中でどのように展開され、活用されてきたのかについて検討するという目的のもと〈「甘え」理論/概念〉の展開および『精神分析研究』誌における「甘え」を使用した症例報告を概観した。そこから、「甘え」の学術的意義や関心と比較して、そこから、「甘え」の学術的意義や関心と比較して、臨床的な活用の報告が目立たないことが見受けられた。その理由について、患者が抱える「甘え」の問題について質的な変化があること、治療者自身の「甘え」を扱うことが難しいということが影響しているのではないかと考えられた。しかし、それらの問題にも「甘え」の重要な視点が含まれており、「甘え」を現代的な精神分析臨床の中で扱う意義があるということを論じた。今後の課題として「甘え」が他の概念や理論に内包されるか、取って代わっている可能性もあるため類似概念との差異について詳細な検討が必要と考えられた。

This paper presents a review of the development of “Amae” theory (Doi) and case reports of its use in“The Japanese Journal of Psycho-Analysis” to examine how it has been developed and utilized in clinicalpsychoanalytic practice in Japan. Reports of the clinical use of the term “Amae” are less conspicuous thanits academic significance and interest. This was thought to be influenced by qualitative changes in theproblems of “Amae” faced by patients and the difficulty for therapists to deal with their own “Amae.”However, these problems also contain important perspectives on “Amae, ” and there is significance intreating “Amae” in contemporary psychoanalytic clinical practice. It will be necessary to examine thedifferences between “Amae” and similar concepts in detail, as “Amae” may be included in or replaceother concepts and theories.
