妊娠期における母親の子ども表象とその発達的規定因及び帰結に関する文献展望

Abstract

本稿では､妊娠期の母親の表象世界の中でも特に重要とされる､お腹の子どもや母親としての自己についての表象に関して､主にアタッチメント研究領域で蓄積されてきた､これまでの実証的知見を概観･整理し､論考することとする。

This paper aimed to review the growing body of previous research on pregnant mothers' representations of their unborn infants and self as mother. The first purpose was to reveal the developmental process of maternal representations concerning their unborn infants and self as mother in the course of pregnancy. And then, the findings on the determinants of the quality of maternal representations, its stability and change over time, and the impact of pregnant mothers' representations on their care-giving behaviors and attachment relationships with their infants after birth were overviewed. Finally, the theoretical implications and future directions in this research area were discussed.
