抄録: | The purpose of this study was to investigate how students were reacting to the academic culture of Kyoto University and how they were changing their learning strategies through the process. The present results were as follows : 1) The students felt they did less studying, and did not feel comfortable with the method of study. They also felt a distance between themselves and the teacher, and found it harder to study at the university. 2) The students' academic motivation decreased on entering Kyoto University and was affected by transformation of teaching method, so that the motivation toward class, attendance to class, and the general attendance to the university decreased. 3) As the students' feelings of freedom increased, this affected the motivation toward class, which in turn affected attendance. Although saying this, the students' feelings of freedom made no difference toward academic motivation. 4) The students who entered Kyoto University came to use learning strategies like contemplating or social learning, on the other hand their study time and the actual amount of study decreased. |
