FDと学生力 : 岡山大学 学生・教員FD検討会の1年

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is in introduction of the outline of CSTOUFD; Committee of Students and Teachers in Okayama University on Faculty Development. CSTOUFD is the public organization established in July, 2001. The members of CSTOUFD are recommended at each faculties of Okayama University. They have argued constantly on many problems on FD. For example, Syllabus of Okayama University is improved by this argument. The activities of CSTOUFD are independently managed by students, and chairman of this organization is a student. Generally FD tends to be considered directly regardless of the students. However, considering the essential character of FD, the authorities of each faculties should respond to the various opinions of students. FD must be more effective by utilizing the power of students. The significance of CSTOUFD will become larger and larger. I expect that the similar organizations will be established in other universities.
