抄録: | The present study was performed to examine the relationship between the concept of "Ibasho" and Japanese culture. Through consideration of the symptoms of anthropophobia and the concept of "Amae, " we found that for Japanese the group in which one can experience "we-feeling" or some collective is important to establish the sense of "I." These relationships are called "relative" or "inner" in Japanese and the affection of "Amae" is a feature of them. In addition, in these relationships, people are related to each other in the ethics of "place." Considering the history of the concept of "Ibasho, " the places where children not attending school can stay in safety have been called "Ibasho." We regard school non-attendance as the loss of the place where one can be related to others in the mood of "Amae, " in which one can feel safe and establish the sense of "I." For these Japanese cultural backgrounds, the concept of "Ibasho" has current psychological meaning. Future research topics are presented. |
