臨床心理学において質的研究はどのように語られてきたか --質的研究の認識論における臨床的可能性に向けて--

Abstract

臨床心理学において質的研究は広く用いられるようになったが、その位置づけは未だに曖昧であるため、方法論について整理することが必要である。本稿では、質的研究に関する国内の文献を検討することで、臨床心理学における質的研究の課題と可能性について論じた。スコーピングレビューに基づいて選択された42本の論文について、質的研究の方法論の変遷、質的研究法の分類、事例研究をめぐる方向性、質的研究におけるナラティヴの4つの視点から検討した。臨床心理学において質的研究は、事例研究との位置づけが混在しており、主に臨床心理学的援助に対する効果・介入研究のための分析手法として紹介されることが多いことから、事例研究をめぐる議論に引き込まれる形で語られていることが示された。それにより、ナラティヴを含めた質的研究の持つ認識論的世界観が見落とされていることが指摘され、ナラティヴの生成の場としての研究的意義と可能性が示唆された。

Qualitative research has become an increasingly popular approach in clinical psychology, but its methodology is often regarded as obscure and confusing. Therefore, organization of its arguments is required. This paper reviews articles on qualitative methodology and examines the problems and prospects of qualitative research. A total of 42 articles were selected using the scoping review method as a guide. These articles were examined from four viewpoints: evolution of qualitative research methodology, classification of qualitative research, issues and directions of case study research, and narrative aspects in qualitative research. In clinical psychology, qualitative research has occasionally been confused with case studies. Qualitative research has mainly been discussed as an analytical method for case studies, such as effect research or intervention studies. These show that qualitative research has caused disagreements over case study research. Hence, epistemological perspectives including the narrative aspects of qualitative research were overlooked, which highlights the significance of qualitative research where narratives are co-generated and constructed.
