抄録: | This study attempts to comprehend darkness from the viewpoint of what is seen and experienced there. From the investigation, it is found that the existence of 'others' is a main cause of anxiety that we feel in the darkness. Namely, in the infinite darkness, we often fail to see the 'others', and this lack causes us to feel as if the existence of 'I' is being lost, as it lives within the relativity to the 'others'. On the other hand, it was observed that, when a 'frame' is brought in the darkness, our experience within it has the function to recover the 'I', which is excessively exposed by 'others' in daily life. Considering these, I examined my real case on the assumption that the experience in the darkness in some senses overlaps with what the client was actually facing. The result is that, between 'I' and 'others', there exists relations of 'see' and 'seen', and going through this with balance is very important for us. It seems that such experience helps one build a 'frame' in the darkness, which enables the person not to completely lose sight of 'I' there, and even leads to the possibility for the rebirth of 'I'. |
