dc.description.abstractIn this paper, to found a cue for the study of the formation process of the psychotherapeutic function in schools, we have examined as an example the process of a certain 'periodic and continuous case conference' for elementary school teachers, who encountered some difficulties with two children. At the beginning of this case conference, two children were perceived to be 'aliens' by the teachers, due to their behaviors being chronically unacceptable to their school. During the process of talking about the children at the conference, however, the teachers' view changed to include the 'aliens' in their system, and parallel to this, we observed that the children also changed. We suppose that this process of metamorphosis is frequently seen in the process of psychotherapy, and is also similar to the counseling process of parents who have some difficulties with their children. What are the possibilities of 'the case conference for teachers'? We try to discuss the concept with a focus on the case conference as "Topos" of discussion and narration for the teachers'.en
