「見るなの禁」の物語をめぐる河合理論と北山理論の比較検討 --三者構造に着目して--

Abstract

本研究は, 物語の普遍的な型の一つである「見るなの禁」をめぐる河合隼雄と北山修の理論を比較検討し, 見るなの禁の物語を通した日本人論を捉え直すことを目的とした。両理論の相違点として, 分析心理学に依拠する河合の理論が円環的な構造をもつのに対して, 精神分析に依拠する北山の理論が直線的な構造をもつことや, 日本人の自我の構造についての両者の捉え方の対照性について論じた。また, 河合と北山が物語の過程で生じる三者構造について論じているという共通点に着目し, 第三のものを媒介とした三者構造の中で情緒的な交流を図ることに親和性をもつ日本人の心性について, 文化的な側面から検討した。そして, このような三者構造は, 夢や箱庭などのイメージを媒介としてセラピストとクライエントが対話する現代の日本の力動的心理療法でも重視されることを論じた。今後の課題として, 具体的な物語や臨床事例を通して分析を行うことなどが挙げられた。

This study was performed to compare the theories of Kawai Hayao and Kitayama Osamu on “prohibition of don’t look, ” one of the universal types of stories, and to reconsider the theory of the Japanese people through the story of the prohibition of don’t look. With regard to the differences between the two theories, Kawai’s theory, which relies on analytical psychology, has a circular structure, while Kitayama’s theory, which relies on psychoanalysis, has a linear structure. In addition, the two theories differ in the way they view the structure of the Japanese ego. Focusing on the similarities in that both Kawai and Kitayama discuss the triadic structure that arises in the process of narrative, the affinity of the Japanese psyche that has an emotional exchange within a triadic system mediated by a third thing, was also examined from a cultural perspective. Such a triadic structure is also emphasized in contemporary Japanese psychodynamic psychotherapy, in which therapists and clients interact through the medium of images such as dreams and sandplay. Finally, it was noted that the analysis through one specific story or clinical case represented a limitation of this study.
